One-Eyed Doll is an amazing Goth Punk band who has captured the rawness and angst of Punk Rock and the lyrical epicness of Goth Music and have combined both to create the perfect bouquet of long stemmed razor blades.
Singer/Guitarist, Kimberly Freeman has developed this on-stage persona of a damaged doll that a little girl used to play with and then was tossed into a corner and forgotten about….then many years later that doll rises up and becomes a powerful source of energy and a role model to all those who have felt left behind and seeking a hand of strength.
So far in 2011, Kimberly has been named one of the hottest chicks in hard rock by Revolver Magazine and appears alongside Lita Ford and Joan Jett in Guitar Player Magazine’s twenty most extraordinary female guitarists.

1. Lead singer and guitarist Kimberly Freeman spent time in China before diving into the music scene. She still speaks Chinese fluently.
2. Drummer and producer Junior’s real name is Jason Rufuss Sewell, and Kimberly believes that he is a salamander.
3. Kimberly and Junior have created music for hundreds of movies, video games and TV commercials.
4. They’ve also guest performed on countless artist projects and albums. In fact, as we were making this list, Kimberly recorded background vocals for an upcoming reggae album.
5. Kimberly and Junior love to eat Sushi!!!
6. Junior recorded his first album at age 15 and has been a full time music producer since.
7. Junior plays most instruments, mainly guitar. One-Eyed Doll is the first band that he’s been the drummer in.
8. Kimberly and Junior were keyboardists in the same band nine years apart, in two different states, not knowing one another until later in life.
9. Junior ran for California State Senate in 2001 and almost won!

I wish ONE-EYED DOLL would play in my town, Gosford !!!!! It’s in the state of New South Wales which is in Australia. I first heard the music of ONE-EYED DOLL when they did their fun concert on AQW’s and I have been in love with their music ever since. Their music is more real then any other heard today because their lyrics actually convey something instead of just nonsensical words strung together to make a dance song (I don’t have anything against those type of songs but it’s nice t hear something different).
Love this band and I love the fans…. the best fans on earth. Kimberly has a lot of love and Jason got a lot of….. not sure but he’s got a lot of it…. they are awesome!!

I’ve already had my dream answered once! I was the “Boy” at OED’s killeen halloween show a year or two back.I’ve been dubbed part of the One Eyed Doll pit crew, and am very proud to cvall kimberly and jason friends.
I started listening to them after my best friend introduced me to their music. I met them at a show, and have loved them as musicians, and people ever since. The amount of soul and heart that kim and jason put into performing for the fans is un-matched in the world of music! To see kim after a show, physically drained, emotionally tapped out… but still smiling and hugging and kissing her fans is something i’ll never forget.
I would love to see One Eyed Doll play for the troops here at Ft. Hood. Kim’s always shown great interest in doing so, and I’ve tried relentlessly to get the MWR people here to book them. But, to no avail.
Please, please get in touch with the people here at Ft Hood, and bring One Eyed Doll to the soldiers that work so hard to protect our country. They need some good music, and a great show to help them relax!

OED-come to “The Garage” in Winston-Salem!!
I’ve been a fan of One-Eyed Doll for almost 2 years now. Originally I came across the band on the Reverbnation website, and I have been totally smitten since then. I had the opportunity to meet Kimberly and Jason at the Milestone Club in Charlotte, NC and you could not wish for nicer people. The music covers so many genres that it cannot be compared to any other band today. At the age of 52 I did not think I could be so captivated by any band in this day of cutthroat cookie cutter pop crap that is constantly heard on the radio, but I can honestly say that I will be a fan of this band and of Kimberly Freeman for as long as she and it continues. And, I’ll probably be in love with Kimberly long after that. There are many clubs and venues in North Carolina that would love to see them, including the cities of Winston-Salem, Greensboro, Raleigh and Charlotte, and anywhere in between. Even South Carolina-Greensville and Spartanburg. When OED comes to the area I will be there to see and greet a band that is like no other-and I am also proud to call Jason and Kimberly my friends.

I was lucky enough to catch them as a surprise opening act at a multi-act show here, and they were by far the best band there (and by “there” I may very well mean the entire state of CA). They’re dynamic and engaging, riveting to watch, darkly funny and charmingly sinister, and MAN do they rock! Please make San Diego part of your regular touring rotation! Maybe a small strip of tours like downtown San Diego, North County San Diego, Orange County, and then L.A.? Then back down again? Then repeat?! Forever?!! PLEASE??!!

Southeastern tour is in tall order! ….hitting many stages in and around Georgia including New Brookland Tavern in Columbia,SC and also returning the band to The Wormhole in Savannah while debuting at Sky City in Augusta. Then they really need to play (i.e.-reek havoc) the musically historic Macon,GA (contact Sean@TheBlueIndian.com) plus: while in town, maybe Kimberly can give us an acoustic performance at Golden Bough (coolest bookstore ever!) Tour culminating at the more populated areas of Athens (Go Bar and/or Caledonia Lounge) and of course Atlanta (Drunken Unicorn, Star Bar, The Earl) including a pre-show set on the stage of Criminal Records…

One Eyed Doll is one of the most incredible acts to hit the scene in a long time. Just when you think you have them pinned they swing a gut wrenching left to leave you aurally amused,dazed and confused, and left begging for more. Kimberly and Junior are two of the hardest working musicians I have had the pleasure of showcasing in my 12 years of producing Texas Rockfest during SXSW. OED has been and will continue to be a force to be reckoned with. Look for many more surprises from this dynamic duo because they are going global and soon. Congrats and well deserved success to my friends.

Hey I’m only a recent fan but these guys are amazing! I think they should come to Australia and tour EVERYWHERE! Not just Sydney and the other big cities, I mean even small places like Wyong. The scene here is mostly rat-bag screamo stuff, I want to hear something I can relate to!

This band’s studio albums are an amazing sonic adventure, and I highly recommend them to any one that, uhm, has a pair of ears!
But their live set has to bee seen to be believed. To say they are entertaining and riveting would be an understatement. I think the closest analogy I can think of is, this must have been what it was like to see the Doors perform live during their run at the Whiskey in Los Angeles, but in a family friendly manner. Jim Morrison’s on-stage antics don’t hold a candle to this girl. I hope they play LA again soon!
I would really like to see One-Eyed Doll play at my apartment in College Station/Bryan TX. Its pretty much guaranteed to be a huge hit with the locals (me and my brother)((Well, I mean, if he’s not too busy with other stuff that is)) and I think my brother’s cat would really dig their style. (Alright, new fan!) I can pay them in juice boxes and unlimited viewings of Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein. I also feel that the theme of the night should be Godzilla… I call the Mothra costume… I look forward to being contacted about this amazing opportunity for One-Eyed Doll because I think this will make their wildest dreams come true. I think I saw one living in a ditch, eating what people throw away and making friends with another bum named Larry who was actually successful until the economy screwed him over. Then he asked the fan why he’s homeless and the fan said “cause I decided to give all my money to an awesome band from Austin rather than keeping it for myself.” CAN U GUESS WHO THAT FAN IS…………

“I LOVE One-Eyed Doll!”. I can promise you that I’m not the only one who’s ever thought or blurted out these words! It is most likely IMPOSSIBLE to attend one of their shows and not notice the strong bond between the band and their fans. And if you’re in the audience for the first time, there’s a very good chance that like me, you’ll fall in love with them before their first song is even over.
I highly recommend going to see them in person, but I must warn you that they will most likely hypnotize you and you’ll want to see them again and again. In the meantime they have many awesome albums to download, and from what I can tell many more to come. Go see One-Eyed Doll!! They’re awesome!

One-Eyed Doll is an awesome band we’d like to see again up here in Detroit. Their only show up here with them listed in advance on the bill was at Berkely Front, but I think they’d get a better crowd at The Shelter in Detroit. This band has a spectacular stage presence, if you haven’t seen them you definitely must.
